What the Job Actually Feels Like
One moment you might be helping a student with homework. The next, you’re leading a game, encouraging a struggling child, organizing a family night, mentoring college aged interns, or helping create a space where kids feel safe and loved.
No two days look exactly the same — and that’s part of what makes this role so special.
We’re a small nonprofit, which means we all jump in wherever needed. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, emotionally intelligent, and excited to build deep relationships with students and families.
If you’re someone who:
naturally connects with kids
brings positive energy into a room
cares deeply about people
likes creativity and variety
wants work with purpose
…you’ll probably fit in really well here.

Help facilitate fun, engaging, and meaningful daily activities
Support students academically, emotionally, and socially
Coordinate with interns, volunteers, and community partners
